can I upgrade my L7 to L7i so I can use the PTT service on my L7 ?

I have 2 Moto ... one is L7i which is support PTT service but I want to use the PTT service on my L7 too so I do not need to buy new mobile just for PTT .

PTT = Push to Talk

And how can I change the PTT tones which is come when I send and receive PTT calls ... I mean the one like this (Teroron or teeet or tet tet)?

And where I can find nice theme or skins for my L7X (L7 & L7i) and How can I install it ?

if there is any software needed, Please provide me a link to good download page for the needed stuff !!

you can activate ptt function in L7 slvr just need to change some seems values

People I'm an IT for computer hardware and software and SIEMENS Mobiles since a long time ... so it will be easy I just need the tools which I need to open the seems file and edit it and upload it again to the mobile ...

Please guys help me outa this ...

but u cant upgrade to L7i-mode

hes saying its "not possible" ive tried to do this myself but im thinking it has to do with the internals. again this is only my opinion against your knowledge of phones. also keep this in mind IF you have sticky firmware its best to get rid of the board first either that or find someone who can get you out of the sticky firmware(ie EOR .25R there are others i jus dont have my list consolidated)

if u understanding following things do it using p2ktool.

enable PTT setting & PTT key (discovered by Yuet)
SEEM 0032-0001 offset 66 bit 6: (set off)
SEEM 0032-0001 offset 7D bit 1: (set on)
SEEM 0032-0001 offset 83 bit 0: (set on)
SEEM 0032-0001 offset 8c bit 7: (set on)
SEEM 005B-0001 offset 17 (set value to 40 to set smart key = PTT key)

try search p2ktool,,i uploaded once
if something goes wrong ,you can bring back the phone by full flashing ,,
