V300 to a V600 thru Flex/Flash - Big gain?

I was reading up on people flashing a Motorola V300 to a V600 firmware, and my question is what do you gain?

The big upgrades compared to those two phones are mostly hardware based like bluetooth or ir, etc. The only thing I can imagine is you would get the ability to put Video on your phone and take video with your camera. Other then that I dont know. I would love to hear that you can fix the vibe and ring part

If anybody knows about this, or can point me in the right direction, please let me know.

Thanks In Advance!

-Walter

well there are goods and bads... from my v400 to the v600, I got about 1 more meg of memory free (none of the cingular stuff) plus video player, lots of IM stuff, and engineering menus...

Stuff thats bad... you need to know all the internet settings (not a big deal for me) and you have to set up mms stuff again.

Also, when trying to use bluetooth or the outer lcd lights (that dont exist on either the v300 or v400) it kinda disables the camera functionality until you turn the phone off and back on again (which is a sort of pain in the ***)

Another thing, AIM/IM support appears to be hardcoded some way to t-mobile's aim stuff, which seems kinda dumb. I will definately look forward to OTHER software upgrades in the future, just dont know if this one is very worth while.

Video player is kinda neat... but would be MUCH better if the camera would capture video.

Motorola PST 6.7... flash with the flasher program then open up phone programmer and open pflex and write that to the phone as well... otherwise the phone will power on but still have all the old menus etc... and it wont register on networks.
