I think that you have a hardware problem. When you remove the shield, you cut some tracks in the main board.

Chek it and fix.

Use search!!!
I found the solution with picture, that fault is by badly tespoint with smart, at the time of removing the metallic cover!!!

can anyone help me i have a v3i new handset , which is not yet opened but today it is saying INVALID BATTERY when the set is switched ON without SIM and when we switch ON the set with SIM then it says NO SERVICE and INVALID BATTERY ,

please tell me if it is a software or a hardware problem ?

maybe you can remove the shield and check resistor and dioda near Neptune CPU, resoldered resistor and dioda
