    c118 unlock

I have tried to unlock a couple of c118 with the c139 reader. I am using it on a xp host.

Typical outputs of the c139 reader are:
    C:\C 139>c139codes.bat

    C:\C 139>cmdflash -READ COM1 FILEATA\codes.eep A:0x3FC000 L:4096

    ** E365 FLASHER *************
    -----------------------------
    SELECTED MODE: READING FLASH
    -- get the szFlDevIniFile fldevice_E99_W30T.ini
-- Switch on the target now!
-- Get the BootCode [1] response.
-- Get the BootCode [2] response.
-- Get the BootCode [3] response.
-- Get the LOADER Version: V.01.00.00
*-- read flash data return error.
    -- error code in dl_RetrieveTargetVer(): -345

    C:\C 139>

    What's wrong? Any ideas?

Can I alternativly use the software for the c139 in this forum to unlock the c118s?

Many thanks in advance for any reply

No, I don't have smart-clip. Is some piece of hardware necessary, so it can be used? Then it does not make sense, because I just want to unlock 6 mobile phones.

    Thanks!

Smart-clip is not an option for me, because I just want to unlock 6 mobile phones.

    A couple of simple questions:

Why does c139 reader not work? Did they change the hardware or software of the c11x? I read about problems with the c117 and I wonder if it is the same with my c118.

Can I maybe use dm tools for unlocking? Where can I get the flash files then?

1.0.67 is quite old version and can be unlocked with any tool w/o any problems. if you have problems with 1.0.67 check your cable.

Thanks, ATM, your comments are very helpful.

Is there a way to check the cable easily? Can I use a voltmeter (does it have electronics?) or can you advice a software for checking?

    Again, many thanks
