mpx 200 900 mhz help - GSM-Forum

Hi there,
I live in Europe. I bought a MPx200 from USA. It was locked to AT&T network. I unblocked the phone with some code then made the firmware upgrade to enable 900 mhz. I can see 900 mhz option on the menu but when I try to use my simcard it says no service. I don't know that is the problem. Do AT&T disable 900 mhz with hardware control? Is there any one who uses this phone with 900 mhz after the uprage process? It works fine with 1900 mhz networks.

you need special flex for this

I flashed it with different fw, 900 mhz now in menu, but no signal on 900, it seems HW modification required also

i tried also .. it worked with poor signal .. i think there is special network calepration needed also to enable 900 mhz in eeprom zone ..

Kamscam; is that a command that you enter to enable the 900Mhz? is that a proven fact? thank you for clarifications
