Unhappy Hey KP500 problem with QPST

I'm an owner of an LG KP500, recently flashed the firmware to v10n to try and get past the infamous "Inactive USIM" error, now I'm convinced the phone itself has either been blacklisted via it's IMEI, or that it should be sent back to LG, I wanna try changing the IMEI to that of another phone I own and don't use anymore, to see if it could possibly reverse the effects, but the KP500 refuses to be acknowledged by QPST Config, anyone know if there's a way to counter this behaviour? I put the phone into the PC Suite mode to get the Diagnostics modem port to appear in QPST, but it claims there is no phone attached.

I'm using the original cable that was packaged with the phone to do this, and my laptop is running Windows XP SP3 Intel C2Duo (In case it might be a hardware conflict with my laptop itself, and not an error with the application)

Thanks for any help, this forums already been a great source of knowledge, considering this is where I got the guide for flashing the phone lol. I'll try to reply to any comments as promptly as possible.

I beg your pardon, I don't quite understand what you're asking me.

I have tried using the Flash Loader Utility method with QPST, however it doesn't respond to the phone itself.

I believe this might answer your question?
