Test this sequence, without the sim card, and dont work:

Other sequence?

to enter unlock code in LG 8500 simply with a non accepted card press the bouton OK in the LG and type your code !

yes this is the right method to put the sp unlock code..
i recieved the unloc code from the service provider and putted .. now it is perfectly unlocked
