KU990 Camera fails to start | How to upgrade LG KU990? | Factory menu messed up - GSM-Forum

Hi,

as mentioned I got Vewty today and the camera fails to start. Logo and 'loading' appears for ages untill phone restarts and I have to remove the battery...

if it will help, how can I upgrade firmware/software in LG KU990? Is it possible to do that at home?

also I think I've changed something in factory menu because over 50MB is used by unknown data and some weird messages appeared in inbox.
I wanted to use factory menu to reset the phone, but no change, the camera still fails to open. Is there anything I can do to fix camera?

I had the same problem , i fix it by opening the phone and plugging the camera connector that was unplugged from the flex.

I don´t know if your case is soft or hardware problem , bu if it is hardware give a try and check the camera conector

as the guy says resit the camera connector as they come loose easy. but be careful if you dont know how to put viewtys back together.

this is Becuase your phone is KU990R and i think you have flashed it with KU990 Normal

same problem...SOLVED!!!! Open the phone and unplug and plug again camera connector!!! eventualy use some alcohol to clean softly camera conector...now the camera work again!!!!!!!! TESTED!!!! SOLVED!!!!!

The same problem: "camera loadind" but nothing::::

just disassemble and clean the camera connecteur and the camera re-work. Thank's all

i have the same problem! i follow the dissasembly guide but i cant unplug camera... can someone help? what i have to do exacly to free camera?

i have a problem too ... meesed with the phones` EFS and the camera won`t work now ... tell me what to do :| i`ve tried to reflash it with older file systems to create a point from where to update with de update tool . i don`t think it`s a hardware problem because i haven`t dropped it :|
