LG KU-990 T-Mobile UK unlock procedure correct but network lock shows Not Available

So, here is the problem, the procedure for entering unlock code in LG KU-990
was followed correctly:

1. insert original sim card and turn phone on.
2. Press telephone icon at bottom of screen to bring up the phone keypad
3. Enter 2945#*990#
4. A menu will pop up, select sim unlock
5. Another menu will appear, select Network lock .
6. Enter your unlock code and press ok
7. The phone will then reboot and the unlock is complete.

However, at Step 5, when selecting Network Lock, or any other locks, it shows "Not Available". The original SIM was used, as well as a SIM from another network, both have the same problem.

This phone is from T-Mobile UK. Does any one have a solution for this strange problem?

I'm facing the same problem with my Tesco locked Viewty.
When I select "Network Lock" to enter my unlock code, I get a NOT AVAILABLE message

Does anybody know what's wrong? Is there a solution on this problem?

Sorry for digging up an old thread but I have the exact same problem on a new phone from Tesco Mobile. Did either if you find a solution?

I could get to the screen where it asked for a code last week but didn't have one to enter. Now that I have a code, it won't let me enter it!

i had this problemm with lg e900, but after flash phone problemm solved


did you try direct unlock by any lg tool? like vygis z3x?fg?
