LG U8120 Unlocking - GSM-Forum

Can anybody guide me through how to unlock my u8120. ive downloaded that babe software and guide from phantom but the guide isnt clear :S

Is simple, connect phone to com1 for example, start software, select lg8120, push unlock, and if u r lucky phone will be unlocked

does it normally take a while then? it asks me to press power on. should i start with the phone switched off or on?
