LG U880 Unlock ? What is mini USIM ? - GSM-Forum

There is a new 3G phone in the "3" They are selling now LG 880 + mini USIM. What does it mean ? That this phone will not be able to work at 2G ? Is it possible 880 to be unlocked

Take a look at this and ull understand more.

u880, 8210, 8290, 8150 are all Q based phones. Hopefully till X-Mas will be fixed.

i dont speak italian

all that i understood was that this mini usim is a "re-sized" sim/usim card which is used in LG u880 and some other phones.

From what u have written i understood that there will be fine a way to use 880 with normal sim cards and that there will be a way to unlock this phone, right ? But for now there is no way or i am wrong

I tested with my beta way and phone will accept any 3G cards but will restart on each 30 seconds. Well as i said till XMas enough time left. So pray ...

P.S: Yes is normal resized sim. Can make use of an cutter to resize

whay not implemented new platform qualcomm? if you have need of material in order to understand this platform I put you two link where to download, is the program for the flash is to firmware for LG U880 of 3 Italy Qualcomm based.... you searching the solution of patching original firmware (attachments) and cut normal sim it is compatibles 100%

what about this sw, for qualcomm based ph, this sw support chipset MSM 6250 (LG U880), i`ts service sw support for qualcomm.....TRY IT!!!

Search the forum mate.... There are a lot of flash patches arround here also a lot of links to download Vygis Cracked...
