Anyone knwo the difference between these two VW gamma radios? - GSM-Forum

HI. I've just bought a new vw gamma radio, and it looks slightly different. My one is from a bora and says made in france. The other is from a passat and says made in germany.

The main difference is the german one uses soft touch buttons whereas the french one has clicky buttons. But more importantly the german one seems to have a copper heatsink, which leads me to beleive it may have a different amp inside it.

anyone have any idea?

I might go for the german one just for the buttons - they're so much nicer!

Why do you think it's the Beta one? They both say Gamma on the flap, and both have the same vw part number.

SO is there likely not to be any difference in terms of sound quality?

They carry the same name but made by diffrent manifacturers all the specifications and quality will be set by Vw .

There not much difference is just color in panel like component inside is same but little different due country of production and manufacturer like my friends have comment. Same production depends how is installed and other attechment to get music to user taste.
