What programmer you use ? In this time many prog's work well with that MCU.

If eeprom is empty, Radio will not start. Seems you have other problem. I have no idea how Martech read this, but I never got problems with that MCU only 4 wires (without external power suply) and all is ok.

Shooting on that radio no need to desolder MCU.And I doubt Martech to have adapter for this processor.

It's hardware problem.. maybe short circuit or wrong connection, just read martech connection manuals..
