Hi there
A friend of mine wants software for his Nokia 6230
I dont know if it Symbium like my 6600.

Plz help thanks.
What software can he use on his fone?

6230 just like mine is a series 40 nokias phone, meaning, sis files will not run on it, but java phone appz will.... just my 1 cent....

u can only install *.jar *.jad files is series40
in symbian u can install both *.sis & *.Jar *. jad

This is wrong. 6230 is not an S40 or any other S... Because is not a Symbian at all.
6230 is simple Nokia firmware with JAVA MIDP2.0.

I agree 6230 is not Symbian, but it is a series 40 phone.

sorry for the confusion, i've known this info that a nokia 6230 a series 40 phone from nokia from this link....(not coming from my imagination)

Yes but not symbian S40, cos Series 40 is from nokia.
In the end, normal nokia firmware + java midp2, no symbian OS support
