Today I will feature 2 of the most wanted HD games (high def) for Nokia smartphones that I recently liked. I am sure most of you have heard about them and probably you were hoping to see them featured here. These HD Symbian games are based on the N Gage platform and will work with the latest N Gage based smartphones of Nokia including the Nokia N8. Yes, today I will finally feature Real ******** 2010 HD and Hero of Sparta HD.
Real ******** 2010 HD: Real ******** 2010 HD or Real Soccer 2010 is based on platforms that supports and includes the N-GAGE gaming engine. All high resolution smartphones including Nokia C7, N8, C6 C7 etc are supported. Any Symbian^3 smartphones from Nokia and other brands like SonyEricsson, Samsung, LG are also supported. Additionally this game will also work on any Android platforms.
Real ******** 2010 HD packs quite an exhaustive list of gameplay options that is promising enough to keep you engaged to your Symbian^3 smartphone for months but it does have some pitfalls as well. There are over 245 teams for you to choose from but they are actually not the real life teams that you are a fan of. The actual title of any team and the name of all the players have been changed to keep the lawyers at bay. However you can rename or edit any team or player after the installation if you really want to play with the so called ‘real players’ which is an exhausting task I assume. The exhibition mode is a good starting point to play the game for the first time after the training is over. Simply pick your team and choose an opponent team to kick off this game without impacting your career or legend mode.
The multi touch features & the HD graphic of this game is a great feature that is well integrated with the game in general. Running, passing or shooting a ball is quite easy as long as you have played the 2008 version of Real ******** HD. However, you will notice that even after practicing the gameplay for a few times, you are still unable to cope with the difficulty of simultaneous sprints and passes/crosses towards other teammates. You will have to face the player you are passing to while making a pass which makes it all the more difficult yet entertaining in a way. There is a small arrow around the player you are controlling which will help you with the proper alignment of a pass or cross that you are about to make.

Hero of Sparta HD


Hero of Sparta HD: Hero of Sparta is an action/adventure based HD game that resembles to the classic Prince of Persia HD game that almost all of us loved in the past. This time however it is the Spartan King Argos who will engage in bloody battles against some of their toughest enemies to date which includes both humans & mythological creatures.

The incredible graphics and environmental details around your player are two of its many strong points. The biggest advantage of this game however is your ability to perform awesome combos which combined with the amazing 3D graphics makes the RPG based gameplay an absolute blast. You will have to find your way through the darkest pits of the Underworld by battling against countless number of mythological creatures like scorpions, lions etc & even some legendary creatures such as Cyclops, Cerberus among many others. One of the biggest drawback of the game is the lack of detailed texture filtering for elements in the distance but then again that what keeps the motion of the game constant over a period of time. Oh by the way, there is absolutely no lag throughout the game play as much as I can tell.

Even though the multi-touch based player movements takes a bit of practice to master, it is still worth it once you do finish mastering em properly. The gameplay may seem difficult to control for some of us (specially when trying to punch out your combos & finishing moves) but then again you cannot expect to perform all the moves through the multi-touch game stick controller the very first time you play a game now, can you? Apart from the adaptation difficulty of multi-touch combos and the overall low texture blends of the game, it is an absolute star. Any user who loves to play 3D RPG games will love to get their hands on this one for sure.

Assassins Creed Brotherhood | Nokia Game


Assassins Creed 3 Brotherhood is compatible with all the latest Nokia Series 60 Symbian 3rd edition and 5th edition devices including the Nokia 5530, 5230, 5233 & 5800 XpressMusic, N95, N97, N97 Mini, X6, X3, X5, E7, C5, C7, N8, X2, E72, E71, E66, N73, N81, N85, E73, E65, N80, N82, E75, etc among many others. Zombie Infection



Zombie Infection:

First up is the superb action game Zombie Infection for Nokia smartphones. A better high end version is also included for Nokia smartphones like the Nokia N95, N81, N85, N82, N96 etc. The story of the game is awesome and copied from the pages of the first episode of the game and movie Resident Evil. Instead of Raccoon City the infectious T-Virus (referred as a dangerous virus in Zombie Infection) have spread throughout the streets of New York City and you are part of the “Insider Team” who is assigned to exterminate and contain the virus within the city or wherever it has spread out so far.

Unluckily though, one of my most favorite hero – the absolutely stunning Milla Jovovich (pronounced as: mee-luh yo-vo-vitch) is missing in the game and instead you will have to fight as any one of the following depending on the stage you are in: (i) a news reporter (..come on!!!), (ii) a hand to hand combat specialist or (iii) a slam bang military specialist. Regardless of the disappointing copied storyline, the game is a clear winner and will surely satisfy any regular mobile action gamer.

You will be able to choose from a wide array of weapons as your arsenal which includes katana, rockets, machine guns, hand grenades and many more. A total of 36 different missions define the entire game and not one of them is boring to say the least. The overall firepower and their effects are truly amazing and distributed throughout the game. Zombie Infection does not get boring at any point in time which makes this a really long yet very entertaining game a must have installation on your Nokia smartphones.

Terminator Salvation:


While Zombie Infection takes place in 2011, the action packed game Terminator Salvation takes place somewhere in Los Angeles in the year 2018. You play as John Connor and you will have to lead a team consisting of Kyle, Marcus and others to defeat the Skynet takeover of the world. This game is a 3rd person shooter based game and many of your enemies will be equipped with high tech weapons and almost indestructible shields. Obviously, this is not possible and viable as you will not be able to finish the game Terminator Salvation if that was the case.

The Nokia game does give you a glimpse of how the Terminator Salvation Movie turned out to be – yes you can guess it right – it sucked! And in terms of storyline this game does suck!! Nevertheless, you will enjoy the sudden appearances of the robots aka machines around you and the game’s wide range of different genres squeezed into one. Another awesome part of the game is that even though the story line *****, it resembles exactly to the movie and does it with 9 extensive gaming levels.

In Terminator Salvation you will have to complete two different mini-games where you will have to guess and simulate to hack the mainframe of the Skynet Securities so that you and your friends can enter the vicinity safely. Like I said before, this game also mixes several genres into one very well. From driving cars and motorcycles to flying with special tactical-futuristic flying planes/vehicles you will have to do it all. If these were absent then this game would have been impossible to play through entirely.

G.I.Joe – Rise of the Cobra:



G.I. Joe – Rise of the Cobra is the official game of the cartoon based movie G.I. Joe – Rise of the Cobra. The story of the game is exactly the same to that of the movie and that results to pure fun for any existing G.I. Joe cartoon and characters fan because this mobile game is not that bad of a game at all.

The game offers 2D graphics which all over is not bad in any way and is actually one of the most fluid background graphics I have seen in a while. It comes with a side-to-side navigation and you will have to maneuver your way into the game from levels to levels. You can choose to play either as the mighty Joe, Scarlett, Ripcord or Duke. Each has their positive sides and negative sides and will give you a edge over the other.

In G.I. Joe Rise of the Cobra Commander, your enemies range from the evil Storm Shadow to the mighty Baroness and finally to finish off the game you will have to defeat the baddest of em all: The Cobra Commander. You can perform combo moves which are also unique to the characters you choose to play as. All over this game pulls off awesome scores in my book simply because the game offers what it shows and will let you enjoy fast game play without slowing down your game in between the levels and enemies.
