LET ME CUM TO THE LATEST ONES

2.72-good compared to the ones earlier but jerking or a kind of stopping of frames were there
2.73-almost the same as above
2.76-good one.the jerking of frames were reduced

3.00-has defenitely improved performance but the sereensize has become smaller
u can find this by installing 2.76 and 3.00 in two different mobiles
the one with 3.00 installed will hav a small screen compared to the other
performance of 3 is littl higher but the screen becomes smaller especially when we watch in portrait mode

now the latest 3.12
screen size is still remaining smaller when compared to 2.76
and the sound volume is decreased
ofcourse the quality of sound is increased but for nokis mobiles like 6600 poor volume will become a big disadvantage

SO MY CONCLUSION
2.76 IS THE BEST VERSION
3.00 AND ABOVE HAS SMALL SCREEN SIZE
3.12 HAS A DECREASED VOLUME

SO GUYS DONT RUN AFTER THE LATEST VERSIONS
2.76 WILL DO THIS IS THE BEST

but i think v3.11 is best for latest handsets like 6630,6680 etc. because 2.76 is not work properly in thease mobiles .

other versions has its own limitations on ur fon

but i have 3.10 and no problems either....have`nt bothered to try 3.11 or 3.12 yet...i mean like whats the difference??

what about mp4 codec

nothing magical about mp4 codec it seems to be workin like the same codec before
as i said upgrading frm 2.76 to 3 or higher will reduce the screen size

upgrading frm 3.11 to 3.12 will hav a reduced volume

this is tested and proved in nokia 6600 what about other fones people did u find any negative points

TCPMP is far better than all the versions of SmartMovies put together...yes it is still in beta stage but still better & free...imagine how wonderful will the final release be & that will be free aswell...over that TCPMP not just plays avis but also mpegs, mp4s, 3gps, mp3s, accs, etc.
Oh if U guys don't know what I m talking abt then tell me to upload it here...I'll be delighted to.

i registered 3.20 and the sound quality is kool
in portrait mode u get an option to zoom by pressin 6
1 & 3 to improve & decrease brightness
2 to show time bar
4 to jump to time
5 to see different views
7 to show & dismiss time
9 to pause
9 continious to go slowmotion
