Cant unlock with Redbox ! - GSM-Forum

Hi every1

ive got a redbox, cable gx15 usb and i installed driver of redboxs support in the pc (winxp).

when im connecting the phone with the pc, i turn on the phone, and chose Gx15 in 'Benq & sharp Gx15/20/30 Service Soft. v2.0' and press unlock, its show me this :

Press 1 on phone keyboard, you will see Diag mode Menu,
press 99 and presss right top key,
press 3 and then press 1 for Yes,
wait until you see format ok,
press right top key 3 times to exit Diag Mode Menu.
Your Phone is unlocked

But when i disconnected the phone and press 1 on the keyboard from the phone, nothing happens, only the screen show me the "1" and i cant see the Diag mode Menu.

I think if i must to put the phone in test mode..

Any idea ?

Please explain me carefully.. is my first Sharp Gx15.

dont disconnect,do all instruction with cable connected

I think if i put in test mode before press unlock

Hi
After instalation usb drivers, connect phone and check what this phone use com port( for me com 6 )
select in Red Box proper com port & model phone and press unlock
you on lcd should see **** , press 1 then .....etc.
