Gx17 Flasher And Flash Files - GSM-Forum

Flasher is the same like GX15(except a small modification).
This flashe's are tested 3 month's ago but i had lost on my PC.Today i discover in one of my backup DVD's.

For RUSSIAN friends:you can flash your gx17 with a gx15 russian FW (tested).

ok m8 but you don't know the amount of help that you gave me with this flashes, i was really in trouble with this dead phone and i haven't found a new one for replacement, so my thanks are the weekest thing that i can give you back

Great work platijet

But it dont works with gx15.

I have tried to flash my gx15 with a gx17 firmware using your gx17 flasher and it dont worked.. i tried both firmware versions.

It flash ok the gx15.. but when i power-on the phone the lcd starts and a white screens appears.. but nothing more is shown.

If i power on the phone without the sim a wait clock appears on the white screen, but the clock dont moves like the gx15 one.. it seems like the gx15 hangs at startup.

Do you know how to solve this issue? i will love to see a gx17 firmware in my gx15. have you tried to flash a gx15 using the gx17 flash??

after flash try to select "initialise" on file system area and press "start loading flash"
another combination: flash back with gx15 FW and then flash again only the PGM area with gx17 FW.
thats why i made this modification on flasher.seem's that doesn't work on all gx15 with gx17 FW.i will check again and i will post the solution.
p.s. : to me it flashed ok.
