GX25 Firmware help ! - GSM-Forum

Hi guys I flashed a GX25 with GX15 flashfile now it is dead !!

It is picked up when I plug USB in but won't do a thing when I flash it (only got ferrari flash files for it)

Do I need the actual GX25 firmware for the phone or have I killed it ?

Any help would be appreciated

Hi I have tried that method and it loads to the phone OK (well it tells me it is ok !) The screen on phone shows boot loader v6.00 thingy and eventually complete !

Then nothing the phone refuses to power ????

Do I need the actual Sharp GX25 firmware as I have loaded the GX15 onto the phone ? If so where can I get these, also does the filesystem need initialising in someway ?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi guys

I managed to reflash my GX25 with the Ferarri flash files but it is as it was when I originally started ! It boots to the vodafone screen ( I get the start up jingle and the picture of the car then just the Vodafone logo ! )

Then the keypad just beeps when a key is pressed !

It charges ok and starts up to the vodafone logo but won't shut down or do anything else.

ANyone any ideas ?

Go into service menu and erase all user data, 3 instead of 1 during unlock process try it and post results

Hi how do I get to service menu ?

I can't get the phone to go to diag mode ???

When I try and press 0 + 3 + top right + power the phone just starts up and it does the jingle then the car then just the vodafone screen.

I am soooooo frustrated with this phone !!!

Aaaaarrrggghhhh !

Hopefully someone somewhere has had the same problem and solved it !

hi again this is very odd, when i put my o2 sim in with a pin on the phone will ask for pin allow entry then just vodafone logo is displayed the keys beep when pressed but phone can only be turned off by removing the battery.
