Need help with a dead 903sh - GSM-Forum

Just recently got a sharp 903sh, and when i turn it on it comes up with a white screen with some japanese characters and then turns off then on again with the same msg, and the only way to turn it off is to take the bat out.

So i got someone to unlock the ph, but with no luck as the ph cannot boot. The guy tried several times, and tried to format the ph etc but say that the ic chipset must have turned off, now i cant even charge or turn on my phone.

His advice is to get the IC chipset replaced.

Anyone got some ideas what this means? and whether it is actually the ic chipset fault? and whether the ph needs more flashing?
