SHARP GX30 USB Problem - GSM-Forum

first and foremost i am trying to install USB driver for sharp GX30i in win XP but not working. Secondly...is there a way of using USR with a usb cable for GX30...i am desperate....any help please

You need a COM port cable not the USB to unlock the phone using any software. But the USB drivers should install fine under windows XP that is what i have mine working on here just install the driver package and then after connect your phone to the cable and then switch it on the found new hardware wizard should appear and then you can install the drivers automaticly, if it dont work then it might be your drivers are bad i can send you mine by email if you want i have the disc here somewhere.

I have made up a package of stuff for the GX30i and am uploading now will post link here when finished about 20 minutes the pack includes.

GX30i USER MANUAL
GX30i UNLOCKER

started downloading the file. will tell you how i go as i tried other downloads apart from my cd and still to no avail in xp.but since you said that it worked fine on yours...worth a shot...many thanks
