here is how to unlock e710 by code :-)

there are 2 stages to unlocking your e710 by code, this is because samsung in their wisdom have removed reset simlock as part of factory settings, BUT there is a bug that works :-

1) note handset imei
2) insert the card you want to use in your handset and switch on
3) at wrong card enter *2767*688nnnnnnnnnnnnnnn#
(nnnnnnnnnnnnnnn = handset imei number)
4) after reboot your sim will work BUT not after power down

now the trick

5) enter *0141#
6) press call (green) button

7) now simlock updated to current network

just tried it on a UK vodafone e710, none of the old codes wor, but the new one did

ok it worked on my voda e710 now it works on o2 but when i put in another sim such as orange or T-Mobile then it asks for a password :-s any idea on password or how to make it work on other networks??

yes that what it basically dose relock the phone to the network you are trying to use
the code i was asking about is 00000000 (8 noughts)
the best way to do it is download winimei for s105 and use a t100 cable, that what i just done and it worked in 2seconds!!

Anyone tried this code on E710 yet? It works on E715 so in theory it should work on E710 too.

1. Insert the wrong sim card into the phone, a message saying “wrong sim card” should appear on the screen. You can only make SOS calls at this point.
2. Enter in the phone *#9998*3323#
3. You will now see the option ‘Exit’ on the left side of the phone. Hit the left soft key to exit.
4. Press the “7” key on the key pad. Your phone will now reboot. (Turn off & turn on automatically.)
5. After the phone turns back on it will be unlocked to your sim card in the phone. To finish unlocking the phone do the following steps.
6. Enter *0141#
7. Then hit the call button as if you were calling the above number. A small box saying “Personalized” will now appear.
8. Turn off your phone take off the battery, insert a different sim card than the one that was previously in the phone.
9. When you turn on the phone it will ask you for a “SIM unlock code” this number is “00000000” or 8 zeros.
10. Press OK & now your phone is unlocked to all networks.
11. To change your WAP browser settings, enter *2767*927# this will reset your WAP browser, then enter *#87927# & edit one of your profiles.
