samsung e710 MAJOR FLASHING PROBLEM PLZ HELP!! - GSM-Forum

I recently bought an e710. I wanted rid of the vodafone firmware so decided to flash it. I used Optiflash 4.14T with E710XXDF4 firmware, but its totally knakered the fone.
I would really really appreciate if somebody could help me out. I reckon it could be the optiflash program. I tried using Optiflash 3.6 but im getting the following on the log file:

Flash chip 0 is not supported by the flash loader !
Error code: ERR_FLASHTYPE

Somebody help plzzzzzzzz

try flashing the phone again with an ufs3 or any other box...
BTW, r u sure that's a non-vodafone firmware?
Cuz i'm desperately looking for one.

Yes ive managed to sort it. I used optiflash 3.6.0.6 with the above firmware.
It worked a treat. The firmwares sooooo much better than the horrible vodafone one.

do u know if it has the portuguese language pack included?

Yes just checked it now.. it has portugese.. go ahead slap it on..

It's gonna be my first flash. i'm gonna use ufs3 :P
