Samsung X820 White Screen - GSM-Forum

It seems that everytime the phone sits for 10-15 seconds the screen just goes completely white and is brought back to normal by a key being pushed. Also, if the phone is off and just the battery is in the same thing occurs. The screen will be white the entire time. I'm not too familiar with the phone and I'm trying to figure out the problem as a favor for a friend. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I faced the same problem, same condition today, By keen examining of the board i found near lcd connector some corrosion caused by some moisture. Solved it just by cleaning.
