this happen when phone recognize one(or more) constantly pressed key
you can easy try with other working phone-press and hold any key and then switch ON phone

check volume and camera keys
also on keypad check carefuly static discharge pads on every key to GND

hope that this can help - in other way maybe worst - failure CPU
this can check if you measure resistance (in both ways) of any keypad to GND - if you see big difference in any measurement - this is not good

and at least this can be software problem , but it is very doubtfull...

your E800 solution

dear, keypad problems on Samsung phones are mostly caused by short secuit(two volumes torching each other), this in most cases are repaird by removing some diodes to make free again!, but in this model of samsung(E800), the problem of kepad differs from other samsung phones!
this is a twin pcb phone that has a flex as the link between the two phones, once this flex is bad, the phone could misbehave in various ways,
the only solution to this phone is change the flex which is very much available in the market and cheap too and the phone is parfect again.

the flex is easy to change too but pay attention to the clip as it's easily damaged.

once you change the flex, the phone will be as good as new!

for other samsung models, no need to remove diodes, just disassemble the phone, remove inner keypad and the pcd is now *****, get fuel that is still ice when felt(petrol u use for your car) and do not allow it to ventilate, put the pcb ib it, allow for about 10 minutes then rinse with soft (tooth) bruch, put under sun for some minutes and phone perfect again..

tested 100% on X450, E318, X100, X600 and the other solution tested on my E800

enjoy!

Regards from Nigeria
