nsdongle imei write

if you go to the nsdongle site and read the list of updates over the last few months, one of the updates was when the qualcomm series of phones was added.

but the update says"special instructions are needed when writing the Zxxx imei" please download them from support area...bla...bla..bla

does anyone know what the special method is ?

cheers

when us "sunday unlockers" first used qualcomm service software and did'nt know about having to read the codes and enter them manually, some of us managed to wipe our imei numbers out and are left with 000000000000000

so yep, i need to repair my imei number, not change it !

cheers

The solution is to use a com cable (or com+usb combo), I don't know the pinouts myself and was hoping someone would post them. To be honest lolly_pop, if you hadn't have been so rude to Jocke he probably would have helped you.
Some-one posted that they used the LG 7050 cable, so I suppose you could try using that (if you have one lying around). Might as well give it a try, it can't hurt.

@ 7ZARK7

cheers mate,

re: the rude bit to my fellow member, im not rude normally, but this guy just got my back up as he kept saying how easy it was yet he wouldnt help anyone !
i still think theres something suss about his method, hes the only person ever to get utms to repair the imei on a Zxxx phone yet,as far as i know.

im not saying utms cant do it cause it can if you have access to the samsung surver, and id bet my last penny that jocke has got access to it and thats why hes used some silly immature excuse about receiving 50 messages telling him not to help me or anyone else !!!

sounds like an easy way to back out without actually admitting he works for a repair company and its not as easy as he says.

even ELCO says it cant be done with just utms alone, and other members have backed me up and said that its not a simple job like JOCKE says

Well heres some helpful advice if its only one phone just take it to a shop and pay to have it done it would be a lot simpler mate. And no most shops wont change the imei but if it is all 0000000000 then i dont see the problem in reverting it back to what it says on the imei label and i dont think others would either.

No one is judging and sometimes the best help you can give is to be honest.
