IMEI writing failed...HELP me, phone can ON now.... - GSM-Forum

HI,

My phone now cannot not be power ON. The problems is after i upgrade my siemens 6618 (asia version S45) to S45i. after i upgrade, i try to writing the map files using imei writer but failed and the software shows "IMEI block not found" and the phone ID also different with my backup flash. i try to upload the original full flash, but also failed when the last step (writing IMEI)......help me....i got no phone use now.............thanks

i upgrade the phone according to this post....http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...threadid=76652 after i upgrade, the phone cannot write the IMEI in whatever software........

Can you use SME45 Tools v1.2, or you have the same problem like hrushka??

no......i can't use the SME45 tools because my phone is asian version 6618..........

i can flash the phone with using the all 3/4 cracked 2.1.0 but when reach the writing IMEI the software just shows "Writing IMEI....." then say the phone block data got problems,.... and cannot be write............

maybe you can use other software to flash like zsiemenz by RizaPN, and Siemens IMEI Writer, but i don`t know that this software support your phone.
