Samsung SGH-I600 IMEI = 0000000000000000

Hey, I've recently upgraded my phones firmware using 'winVISTA''s I600XXGC6_fix_phone_flashing_problem.rar

Everything went successful apart from now that my IMEI number has been reset to 0's! Now my GSM network provider won't allow me to make any phone calls nor receive them. I think what've I've done is erased/formatted the entire NAND chip which stores the IMEI.. I always thought that the IMEI was hard wired into a non-writable chip. How wrong I was :|

I need to know how to re-write it back?

Here are some screenshots of application I used:

I'd also like to know what do some of these extra buttons do?

Incase anyone doesn't know, the SGH-I600 is a Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone.

There is a bounty for anyone who can resolve my problem!

Many Thanks

Hi,
Because you ticked the EFS Clear. Moreover, that is for fix phone have problem after flashing, not for normal flashing! I've wrote carefully in instruction.txt file.
Anyway, now you need to contact a local samsung service for change the imei back to original.
Another time, read carefully before doing any flashing.
Regards,
K.H

I've just waited two weeks for my phone to be sent back to Samsung and have it repaired luckily under warrenty.

Today I got it back and still, they did not fix it? Why would this be?

Simple solution...

Well i have a solution to have a default imei instead the one with all 000000000000

This is how:
1. enter code: *#1546792*#
2. choose (4 Internal) enter code: bj3open
3. choose (2 Test Mode)
4. press left soft key (More)
5. press key 9 ([9] Common)
6. press key 6 ([6] NV Rebuild)
7. press key 1 ([1] NV Rebuild no RF Backup)

8. Reboot phone

and u got an imei that's different than the one with all zeros, but still diferent than the original... however it should allow you to make and receive calls

now... how do i receive the reward??
