s40- screen and keypad LEDS problem!!! - GSM-Forum

hi
i back to life s40 after wrong flash. now all works fine but LEDs on the screen does not work. LEDs on keyboard lights fine. WELL, IS IT A PROBLEM OF SW OR HW?

i think it's the hw, it uses paper led like in ericsson series, usually bad contact on the led cause it, i think u have to fix it using the carbon pen or something sticky and conducting, hehe

it was a "stubborn" s40, like i said, after reflash it has appear problem with leds. i was checking part after part and nothing

. than i decided to check the menu setups. settings: screen leds ON, just for fun i have set OFF and than again ON - wow, screen flashes. it was a simple software problem. Now it looks like im a dumb, anyway big thanks for help.
