Flash Nokia 6230 to 6230i - GSM-Forum

I was just wondering would it be possible to flash a 6230 with 6230i software? All i want to do is get the same animated menu really. If you can flash 6230 with 6230i would this give you longer recording on Video Camera? Also is there a way to make the internal memory higher?
I have a 6230i with V03.40 does anyone have anything higher to use with Griffin?
I also have a Nokia 6230 sim free and i have set up th MMS settings for O2. I can recieve MMS and use WAP but it just wont send them for some reason. Would i have to flash the phone with O2 software? If so what is the Product Code for a Nokia 6230 on O2 Contract?

Nokia 6230 and Nokia 6230i has different hardware !

yeah 6230 and 6230i are not same fone and flash files are not same size you might end up killin ur fone if you try

i have nokia 6230, i flash it because not switch on, after succefull flash same again, not switch on

any idea PLS!

hello bro have you check the power switch and the power am on the phone with a test meter and try to format user area.

6230 to 6230i you must to replace D455,D451,camera and LCD and imei 6230i(UEME replace)
