help needed with bluetooth software

Hi,
I have a motorola v600 with bluetrek g2 head set. Recently I bought a trendnet tbw -101ub V2 usb dongle which came with an IVT software (bluesoleil v 1.6). Even though it detected my fone, it didnt detect my headset. I look up many forums and they suggested using the Widcomm software. Here are my questions:
1) Which version do I use v1.4.3.4 or v 5.0.1.1200 ? Whats the difference?
2) I am not familiar with hex codes and I couldnt find where the hex codes are located in the registry so that i could change them. Can anyone gimme a link as to where I could find the hex codes? I tried going to Regedit/HKey Local Machine/ Software/ Widcomm/ but dont know where to look for the hex codes. I tried the find option, but to no avail.
3) When I run the patch file for v1.4.3.4 in normal and safe modes i get this error message " And installable virtual device driver falied DLL initialization".
I'd appreciate ny help in this regard.
