Exclamation Help flashing my BT

Hi,
I got a sony vaio S4xp with inbuild BT device. I've managed to read it, and then i updated it with the generic firmware (i've patch it first to be for my BT device) and all went ok. Now the device as default swich to HID mode and i need to run all the time hid2hci with the parameters for my device. I wanted to falsh it back to the backup, but everytime i run the upgrade software allways i get that my device is not recognize (when it shich to DFU mode the usb device it seen with VID 0/0 si not recognized). Anyone got a idea how to flash it back or i'll have to live with the generic firmware on ?

what kind of a device is it? can you give a link? any brands etc?
"VID 0/0" maybe you have to use a tool like Mprog from FTDI to set it back

It is an unknown USB device with VID/PID 0/0. The main problem is that
the BT module won't go into DFU mode. I flash the module with generic.dfu
by changing it into ffff/ffff. It boots into HID mode. Then I turn it into HCI
mode by hid2hci. Launch DFUWizard to flash the old firmware. The BT
module just can't enter DFU mode. Any idea?

I just found a way to recover my bluetooth module. The root cause of
failure to enter DFU mode is because the default boot mode is HID instead
of HCI mode. To change the default boot mode, you have to find a tool
to change pskey value. After changing the default boot mode, I can
reflash the saved DFU without problem. However, it looks like some value
is ruined by the generic.dfu. The vendor string is totally gone. Still find
a way to resolve it.
