Trying to initiate Headset Connection with Headset - GSM-Forum

Hi,
using the Bluesoleil Software I was able to initiate the connection between the dongle and my Logitech Bluetooth Freedom Headset with the button on the headset.
Due to some problems with that software I changed to Widcomm 4.0.1.700. But now I can only start the connection from within "My Bluetooth Place" followed by a ringtone in the headset and pressing its button.

Whe I try to connect to the PC without using Quick Connect there before, nothing happens.

Any suggestions ?

I got a worse situation as you had. my headset works fine with blueboleil as well. but with widcomm, no matter I initiate from "my bt place" or the button of headset, nothing happens!

Have you solved your problem or not?
