Widcomm - Audio Device vs Audio Headset - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I am having a problem with getting my microphone to work on my Plantronics 510 headset (using issc dongle). I have installed WIDCOMM version 5 and all is well.

I have another headset (Logitech Freedom Pro) in which everything works - but I can't seem to get the mic working for the Plantronic headset.

I am looking in "My Bluetooth Places" and if I check the properties of each headset - the Logitech is of type "Audio Device" while the Plantronic is of type "Audio Headset". What is the difference - as this is the only difference I can see?

Note - I have tried all the usual such as making sure mute is not on. Making sure bluetooth audio device is selected in control panel. I have also tried installing on a seperate computer and still the same problem. Mic not working on Plantronic - please help.

I have just tried the plantronic with the latest version of blue-soleil - it works mic and all. Any ideas on getting it to work with WIDCOMM?
