E530 restarts after flash with ufs-3 - GSM-Forum

Hello people,

today i flashed an E530 and after flash phone restarts.
I used the same flash file to flash a phone few days ago and everything was ok.
I also tried other flash file but no result.
What is the problem?
How can i fix it?

re build imei
with ufs-3 or winimei

Thanks for replying but when i try to rebuilt imei with ufs-3 it writes Writing IMEI Failed. As i can see the imei has not been changed after the flash so maybe that is not the problem.

Try this, maybe will help:
Flash again the phone and after done no power on the phone. Put the phone to charger. Wait any seconds, power on the phone, and make eeprom reset (*2767*2878#). For me worked some sysol phones when always restarted after flashed. Please try this and post results.

sdimitris....... did you rebuild the imei with UFS-3 on a Samsung e530 ??

I've been trying to sort mine out for ages after my other half got ripped off on eBay & i've looked for days for a solution

If it changed the imei can you tell me how as my attempts have shown imei write failed......

Desperate for a solution.

I was not able to rebuilt imei with ufs.
You have to use winimei for E530 or TST Dongle.

Thanks for the reply, i have what i THINK is a working version of e530 winimei but my phone wont connect.... keep getting the 'failed' message...

I have the e530 PS2 cable attached to the Samsung 13 in 1 serial data cable with the 9v power supply, is there any info you can give me in regards to using the winimei program & is this the correct cable?

I use an rj-45 to serial converter and i plug to the converter the flashing cable for E530 of UFS. The E530 ps2 cable should work as well. Make sure your battery is full and that you select the right com port. After you press unlock,rebuilt imei etc. you then just press the power button once and the phone should go into tat mode if everything is ok.

Thanks for the reply bud but i have the e530 serial cable (part of the samsung 14 in 1) & it wont see it at all? With or without the 9v battery it's not doing diddly s**t

Could it be that my winimie is as much use as a solar powered torch?

Do you have a link for a WORKING e530 winimie & instructions how to use it?

I'm fine with the D500 winimei but this one wont give me a PASS

Try searching in the Samsung area of gsmforum and i think you will be able to find a working link for e530 winimei.
I use tst dongle but a working winimei for e530 will do the job
