Question nokia 1100 contact service

Hi!

A customer brought 2 nokia 1100 phones showing contact service.. any idea on how to solve this problem with tornado flasher?

I tried some ui settings, but it wasn't succesful. Then i tried to flash one of them but i got an error when erasing was being perfomed and the phone is dead right now.

Any clue? i need to fix the dead one and the other one showing contact service.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards.

What kind of error u r facing? if it is erasing process failed, then reflow the UEM with hotgun and try to flash again. Otherwise erase the whole flash and flash the mobile with mcu,ppm and pm files. Thanks

Bro... Just don't keep on asking.. do something practically by your self also ... Read the posts properly, try what is being wrote...

1.) Erase Full Flash
2.) Flash the phone again with MCU + PPM + PM
3.) Simlock + Full Factory

Try these steps ... and post the errors here ...

Tanvir !

I have a similar issue with a 3140 (DCT3) showing 'contact service' and have tried all of the above and more, without success.
I notice that the IMEI net and the IMEI osn are different, and both are incorrect. I have tried to rebuild IMEI but this appears to complete without any changes taking place. Any elp appreciated.

if u have a 3410 that says contact service and u have written the mcu and ppm zones, made ui defaults and u still have contact service just copy another phones pm if u do not have one. write this pm into the phone and what u will see a phone that only shows battery strenth signal.do ui defaults . then use Eeprom tool by B-phreaks v3.1(it a freeware so just look around for it) to repair the phone otherwise ull get a crazy a phone. it this solution fails u, then its either u did not do it well or it not software problem. pm flashing for 3410 normally hangs for a second at ab out 60% so do not think the process has failed/hanged and give up.
regards
