my mitsubishi astral says
"phone malfinction contact service provider" after unlock (me unlock many astrals without problems). if me rewrite eeprom from backup or fill eeprom by FF, phone still say it. if me rewrite eeprom by dump from another phone, phone says only "contact provider". have anybody solution, please?

Which software did you use to unlock your phone? There are different version of MT-140.

Hi dup,

i also have encountered your problem, and i resolve my prob.. here wat u can do:

1. try another eeprom, (extra eeprom), your eeprom might be damage
2. too much heat/solder splatter would cause that problem, chk your board carefully, near eeprom (most likely)
3. verify bin crc
4. repeat unlock process again, make sure u got good backup
5. if prob still just mail me

Hi

You have destroy portlines from processor.
This error mean: The prozessor can not read eeprom at startup, look carfully at pads from eeprom, if have luck, only a line is brocken.
