Hello everybody out there,

Who has any experience with deblocking the cool

Sony CD5 phone?
I want to use the C1 code program (using the IMEI code), but I am not sure whether I can use this program also for the CD5.

Any help?

you can't use it - won't work

there is another soft via cable;mail me if ye need it

The unlock software needs a cable. What kind of cable do I need? The program starts OK and seems to work quite userfriendly. Many thanks for that. Now the actual unlocking.....

Furthermore, when I insert another SIM card in my phone, the text: 'insert code number' appears. This means, to my opinion, that it is possible to somehow calculate a unlock code. Any idea?

well, on most of the phones you have the possibility to enter NCK or NCSK codes in some way. But I don't know them;

maybe somebody can try bugging with the source code of the Sony C1 calculator, but I think the algorithm is different
