Post Trium Astral - "Mitsubishi M4 Testmode" ???

I have problem with my Mitsubishi Trium Astral.
I tried to unlocked it and I read EEprom 25640 with Pony Prog.I think that my programmer did't read EEprom good because I unlocked bin(used "Free2000") and wrote it again in EEprom and now I have on display

Mitsubishi
M4 Testmode

Now I can only switch on and switch off phone, nothing more !
Have somebody same experience with that
type of phone, and any idea how fix it???

Thanks in advance.
Best regards

Hi. I don't think the problem is on the soldering. I check all conection on Pony Pro interface, but noting. Some times I read the 25640/95640, sometimes is not. And when I use Pony Pro ver 13i have more good results from ver 17. Some idea haw to fix this problem on Pony Pro interface ???

I have that problem too on pony prog. Don't know why, maybe a voltage problem, so i had decided to buy a programmer. Check on http://www.elnec.sk/ there are good and cheap eeprom programmers there or in www.crownhill.co.uk but these are more expensive...

Hi

I have many Triums unlocked, try this:
I use Ponyprog with Inteface shematics from Ponyprog Webseite, but I use external Power.
Many Comports have not enogh power for Programmer. Remove Eeprom from Trium, Put it in Programmer, solder or use Testsocket for SO8, tessocket can you buy from RS-Commponents for 40 EUR. Read Eeprom with Ponyprog, Are shure thats correct read, no ff or 00 overall.
Save Binfile at secure place.
Open Binfile with MT040.exe from DIMO
click unlock SP and save with different !!!! name. Open Unlocked file with Ponyprog and write it to Prom. Thats all.
Importent:
Say your Phone "contact Provider" send me your Originalbin with your IMEI, and I send you a corect unlocked binfile.
15% of Triums need this special Solution.

Jan

Hi Speed PCs have trubble at SPI Proms and Ponyprog, you need a 486 or old Pentium.
I try a 486/33 and it works Perfekt.
My 450 MHz Pentium II work not succefull.
