My Twister is half damaged... - GSM-Forum

Hi!

First sorry my English.

Well, my Twister sometimes lost the XP, and the power led on twister is white lighting. I can connect to dongle, but it can't powering the phone.
If i moving a little the box will good. I tryed with 3 USB cable (i was think this damaged). I couldn't change the USB B socket, because not in market in my town, therefor i soldered directly the cable to box, but same.

And not helped the all resoldering...

Now i tried flash a 5110: Unexpected Exception:FT_Write-Generel IO Error... ---> restart Twister ---> Unexpected Exception:FT_Get QueneStatus-General IO Error... and blue screen error and XP restart automaticaly.
I tryed on also under Win'98, but same

But i can flash another phone if the power led fully light, and i can't flash this phone with another device (Prodigy, Dejan, Knok).

Where can i find the problem on Twister?

you have same error like djparadi . Is this same box or another? If so we can send replacement to djparadi to hungary, it is okay for you to get it from him?

well okay, we do like that, you pass me plz your or his adress by PM and i will send you replacement tomorrow by dhl. This is of course FREE of charge. I will send PCB only, but fully tested. All you need to do is to replace it with the ones from the box. For the faulty ones, i will tell u the procedure by PM where to send, but send only back after reciving the new boxes.

we try to send it out today, if not than latest tomorrow. I will pm you the tracking number.

my regards to djparadi as well and plz pass to your reseller this link so he can see the units has been replaced or email him after you got the replacement.

absolute no problem, this is customer support, but i have to say that we did it only so fast because we konw your reseller, otherwise we could not do it before contacting him.

I had same prob with mine tornado.... Exchanged for another and after 24hrs same with new box too ! ! ! It started like man described above, then there was trouble connecting to box and now when i try to connect, all 3 leds start to blink randomly.... Sometimes it gives box_auth_err_x ( x from 0-100 ), serial in main window is 0 or 40876 or 123 but serial on bottom of window is regular... My supplier states that my PC damaged it but i don't believe ( 3 types of digital camera, sefighter, usb flash disk and martech2 working with no problem on same USB ) and he denies to exchange box for another...
Mainboard is Asus P4P800 deluxe ( i have paid 150Eur for it ) and i don't think it is broken or have faulty USB ...

Have any idea what could happened to my box???

you have a tornado box, you should contact legija, he is very proffesional and you both are in same area. I think this problem can be solved very very fast.
