can anyone tell me, if we can use twister to unlock sonyericsson t290i?

you can use like a t230 or upgrade your twister and you will heve a new phone to chose.

My Twister is updated but there is no T290i

Yes i have t290 on the list but am not sure if it will work.
I tried to read unlock codes selecting T230 and T290i but with no success.
What is the difference between T290 and T290i ?
I need to flash this T290i but there is no flash for it in twister support.
Did you tested it?

Unlock T290i as T290 with twister.
Tested by me

to unlock just use Init Sec Block and use the same imei as in phone and TA DA phone will be unlocked. for flashing i have not tested yet as i only had them for unlock.

hiya im a newbie to the forum but do any of you have an idea where i can get hold of the DIV unlocking tool as i have a few t290i 's to unlock

Hi,

You can get DIV software at my site www.drugstore.gsmhosting.net (http://www.drugstore.gsmhosting.net/Files/SonyEricsson/) but this software is hardware "protected". Which means you have to use a Terminator Dongle to use this software.

I unlocked it with DIV because seem much easier than UFS3, because UFS says something about new GDFS calculation and ask if u wanna risk it. So I used DIV, that didn´t asked nothing at all. But I´m positive that UFS3 also can unlock it.
