A500 (A500H) half screen !!!!!!!


I have A500h that shows half screen only and the rest is black. when it's off and i connect the charger the display is ok. and full image

what could it be ???

rite charging flex issue same i to face

It's the electromagnetic sensor for the smart view case. That separates the screen. The sensor is shorted probably. Change the flex and reboot also deactivate the smart view from settings and I think you will be good to go. Post updates

I think magnetic sensor is used for compass functionality.
what's it got to do with LCD problem ???

Haha told ya !! This is your solution then ... magnetic sensor for smart view cover. One of my fellow technicians found it some days ago.
