Member: 15399 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | I am having the opposite problem. My D500 thinks the is is constanly open, the camera works even if the slide is down, but i can just see black as the camera is covered. Also my B\T is not working, it comes up with activation error. The I\R eye has been snapped off the board, would this be causing the B\T not to work? Last edited by Foneshack; 11-02-2005 at 14:49. |

Member: 352034 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Slider Problem I think a thank you is in order here, I have been having the same problem with the slider, I was pushing it up and no action. I tought it was the flex ribbon but I was wrong it was the magnet situated under a small film of tape. I encountered this problem trying to change my old housing to a new one. So bear in mind when you change the housing move the magent too. An easy way to fing the maget is to use a small piece of metal like a small spring and try to lift it with the part of the phone that contains the LCD, it will stick somewhere at the bottom. Them magent can be taken out with some from from the opposite site. Again thanks to the guys who found out about this first |
