Member: 69631 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 42 | what a quick reply !!!! youve not cleaned it enough mate. the main part that seems to control the lights and buttons is the sub pcb (the 1 with the lcd screen on it) i know its not the right way but i use a tooth brush to make sure ive wemoved all the water damage. i know this can **** the clips through static but ive done loads and i mean loads of samsungs with water damage and have always had a 100% sucsess rate. make sure u clean both parts were the flexy goes and be very carefull when opening the securing clips as if they snap you might as well dump the phone mate. also remove all green tape and clean each part before trying again. remove the flexi from both boards and clean the sockets where they go, then clean the flexi. bont forget the board at the front where the on/off button is, clean the connector on this also. youve got nothing to lose by using a toothbrush with a medium bristle, its not working so try it, ive never failed mate. good luck lolly pop |
