hot air and flat cable at e700


it is possible to broke flat cable in the chance process ?
i had change about 15 pieces (at ~240degrees)and a lot from them he has broken(ear shortly,main or external display faulty,camera )

i have done maybe 20+ flat cable changes and only ever broken 1 small LCD same temperature you are using, it maybe a fault in your positioning of the LCD cable when re-attaching

I done it a lot also but have maby 10 to 15 bad flat cables. That cables was bad before even I try to mount them usualy light problems and camera. It depends how good supplier u have, in this case mine is bad.

well, how do change flex on E700 ??
with Hot Air ? well can u post any pict ? with only 240C u can solder it ? great. i think about soldering it with solder iron , but want to be sure how to do it without damaging LCDs

i desolder both display with hot air but i solder them with iron.i change and connector with hot air too.is possible the flat cable from china is it better then from turkey.

what will be next?
Changing flex on A800, S100 ...etc? that would be great and helpful

suplliers in Serbia are buying cheapest flet cables in china,that's why we CAN"T change it with hot air,only manualy with iron.they are very sensitive to heat

it exist many qualities of flat cables,some of them doesn't work even new .
At first you must check the flex with microscope and if is okey,so you use Hot air or Infrared and also a good solder iron (Weller,Salomon...) .
If you have Parkinson so it's a little bite hard
