i9505 incall sound problem

Hi guys ,

i see alot of i9505 with in-call audio problems. problem also seems to be intermittend
In testmenu *#0*# receiver and speaker are working.
but when i try audio loopback *#0283# there's no sound
Also when in Call also no sound , no mic , receiver , speaker ,handsfree (nothing).
I already tried reflow + replacing the codec-ic but doesn't seem to solve the problem. (or only temporary)
Strang thing is that when i use VOIP apps like VIBER or Skype all the audio is working , so i start to wonder if its a HW or SW problem.
already tried Firmware update but not solved

Anyone got any advice or same problems?

Kr

Hello guys! Have you managed to solve the audio problem at Galaxy S4? I have one similar to your: audio ok on music, audio ok on programs like Viber but no audio in calls. Any solution? I tried hard reset, flash with "right firmware", rehot audio processor. Should I try to change it (audio processor IC)?

S4 GT-I9505 voice problem in both way during calls

Dear Friends,
I bought my phone from Germany in last September. Nowadays, I have been experiencing same problem intermittently (a couple of times/day). Problem is only with phone calls, not Skype, Viber..
I mean, when I make a call or answer a call, I cannot hear and I cannot get heard but calling time goes up on the screen. Even with earphones or Handsfree. I was just about to get crazy! Then I did think about this. When started, what app intalled, any update etc...
I have installed a call recorder named ACR a few months ago. But problem did not start with this. Since I have been experiencing this problem, I got two updates; one for ACR and one for Samsung update. I checked call records when problem occurred. I realized that other side's voice has been recorded but mine has not. Each time this was same.
Then I thought ACR update could caused this problem and I did remove ACR. For a while I haven't faced this problem. Now I'm still watching it. I hope root cause was this. I'll let you know in a week.

Regards,

Hi all,
As I mentioned, I have removed ACR application. Until now, I did not face any sound problem during calls in both incoming and outgoing. My problem was caused by ACR application and solved. Of course this doesn't mean all same problems are casued by this. A HW problem could be...
