Please Help!! IMEI changed to all 0000 - GSM-Forum

Help, I have been trying to unlock my Samsung SGH-E250 phone so it can be used in all networks, and when using one of the codes on this site, it reset my imei to all 0000, I know my old IMEI number, is there any way I can change it back to the original?

use ust pro or ns pro to rebuild yur phone imei

Thanks, but is that the only way to do it?, i dont want to have to buy any special hardware
