But the problem is device always running on MTP mode and Windows cant recognice the device, with charger is on MTP mode, D+ and D- is in shortcut when the usb port is conected with charger or usb-adapter. Can this fix solve this problem? Maybe this problem is with U502. Thank you. |

Member: 26358 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks for the solution. I had same problem today. I was using 500mA charger instead of original one and thought it was the problem. First i cleaned the board. Nothing. Then heated ic. Nothing again. After a bit research i found this solution and measured Vbat and Gnd. Yea there were short circuit. I desoldered old capacitor and connected new one. (I used 2x 10000 nF parallel cos i cant find 22000 but when i measured parallel caps. it was 22000 nF. For now that was the best thing to do) and i soldered it. It was worked as charm. Seems like everything is ok now. |

Member: 1916693 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Hi, My phone i bought for repair was water damaged. I removed the capacity C565 and I get voltage through the rest of the board (have not replaced the C565). However I can't still turn on the phone. I'm waiting on a new LCD as the current one is cracked so not sure its because of this that it won't turn on or not. Do I need to remove the IC or problem is resolved as there is voltage around the rest of the board? I only location where the voltage is not testing ok is next to the EMI filters F703 and F704. When I short them with the multimeter the return and menu buttons power up and phone vibrates. Any info will be appreciated. Really lost still hopefully LCD part resolves, I will provide an update once I try with new part. |
