T100 Classic water problem..need advice re:epprom - GSM-Forum

Hi,
Got a t100 and it suffered a drop in the salt water, retrieved it really quick...have cleaned the PCB with a specal PCB cleaning fuild.

What happens is that it starts up no probs, and comes up with system failure contact provider...now i have read a lot of stuff about flashing epproms but the prob here is that the cable i have connected to it and the program i have been using, wont communicate to the phone.

So i gather the eprom will have to be removed and placed in a eprom reader and software like pony to fix it...

The phone works responds to all commands even dials the emergency number...just comes up with contact service provider.

can anyone help??

I am starting to think not..

what program ar u using? have u used it b4?
its just that i reflash them, sometimes they work.....only sometimes.

some phone tools software, but its like the phone isnt even responding, does it have to be on when you have the cable plugged in.?? or off

i am using a samsung flash file, it flashes the whole software package. then i enter the full eprom reset.
when i muse it i plug the cable into t100 when off then the screen goes white and rewrites the software.
im about 2try sammy tools 2flash the eprom. i will let u know have i get on, if u find out any more let us know.

cool dude, would i be able to get the software you are using and the epromm file for flashing as i cant lay my hands on them..
