Member: 249757 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1601084 Thanks Meter: 117 | No lights My apologees to all for making such a bad quality pic but I was pressed for space. The green text in the pic says "Bridge out 2 LEDS on Keypad". (NOT: bridg with diod on keybad) The idea behind this was to redirect the keypad LEDS towards the LCD. You may notice the keypad lights dont work after you do the bridge, thats why you have to bridge out 2 keypad LEDS in order for this solution to work. I've posted a new pic. hopefully u guys will b able to read it better. Any questions contact me on MSN: [email protected]. (Do not e-mail to this address, its just for MSN) As for your problem my friend, If you have to twist the board in order for the lights to work then I think you might have a dry joint under your CPU. In this case I would write the phone off but there is one thing you can try which is VERY risky. (ie KILL your phone) Reheat your CPU (using hot air) just enough to make the solder melt. I've attempted this afew times and success rate is about 5%. The other 95% I've killed. Good Luck, post reply |
